Switched to jersey number 3 after wearing number 2 as a freshman… signed with DePaul June 28, 2004… attended Custer High School in Milwaukee during his junior year and then spent senior season at Laurinburg Institute in Laurinburg, North Carolina. 2005: Season Notes: made first collegiate start and scored five points at Tulane. Top Performances: season-best 12 points vs. USF... 10 points, three rebounds and two assists vs. Tulane in C-USA Tournament... nine points with two steals at Cincinnati... eight points vs. TCU... four rebounds and three points in a season-high 25 minutes vs. Houston... seven points at UAB... five points in 10 minutes vs. IUPUI... four points, a season-high three steals, two rebounds and two assists in first appearance in hometown at Marquette... four points and two rebounds in a 18 minutes vs. Rhode Island... scored two points and grabbed two rebounds in collegiate debut vs. Bowling Green State. High School: Ranked as the 104th-best player in the nation by Prep Stars… second team all-state as a junior at Custer… averaged 20.1 points, 5.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game as a senior at Laurinburg… averaged 17.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.4 steals per game as a junior at Custer… member of Laurinburg team that was ranked No. 1 in the nation last year… was the leading scorer at the Las Vegas Invitational AAU Tournament prior to his senior year.
