In this report, we take a look at the first week of playoff action at the Chicago South Suburban Fall Hoops Showcase at Richards High School in Oak Lawn.

The quarterfinals featured three upsets which proved that on any given Sunday anything can happen in the South Suburban League.

This Week’s MVP

Adonis Bailey – Richards – 6-3 senior guard – 32 points

In a day of playoff upsets, Bailey led his team to the semi-finals. He took it right at 6-6 forward Mario Redmond on his way to 32 points. Bailey has repeatedly turned in solid performances. It’s hard to believe that this is his first year on varsity at Richards.
