Scott Wainwright Resigns as Assistant Coach

CHICAGO - DePaul men’s basketball coach Jerry Wainwright announced today that assistant coach Scott Wainwright has resigned from his position with the men’s basketball program to pursue an opportunity in coaching. Scott Wainwright has served as an assistant for the last four seasons (2005-09) with the Blue Demons.

“I would like to express my appreciation to DePaul University and the athletics department for allowing me the opportunity to represent such an outstanding institution,” said Scott Wainwright. “I would also like to thank all the staff and student-athletes who have been part of my life for the past four years.”

DePaul will begin a search immediately to fill the position.
