Krys Faber Signs NLI to Play at DePaul
"Krys joins Devin Hill and Jeremiah Kelly to give us a 2008 class of tremendous versatility, speed, and skill. They are all character kids and I can't wait to coach them," Wainwright said.
Faber is a 6-11, 245-pound center from Los Angeles. He attends Ribet Academy where he averaged 15.8 points, 17.5 rebounds and recorded 134 blocks while shooting .490 from the field in 25 games as a senior. He posted seven games with 20 or more rebounds including a season-high 27 against Mission Prep. Faber also recorded a pair of triple-doubles (points, rebounds, blocked shots). Faber also averaged 12.9 points and 12.5 rebounds during his junior campaign.
Faber is ranked as the 23rd-best center in the nation by Scout.com.
Faber joins two players who signed with DePaul during the fall period in Kelly (6-1, Guard, Chicago, Ill.) and Hill (6-8, Forward, New Canaan, Conn).
