Maggie Dixon Memorial

Former DePaul University Assistant Coach and Army Head Coach Maggie Dixon’s life will be celebrated at a memorial mass and reception on Thursday, October 4th on DePaul’s Lincoln Park campus.

Dixon will be remembered at a memorial mass at 6 p.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Church at 1010 W. Webster Ave. in Chicago. A celebration reception will be held at 7 p.m. at McGrath Arena at 2323 N. Sheffield Ave. in Chicago.

Dixon died suddenly on April 6, 2006 at the age of 28 after leading the Army women’s basketball team to their first NCAA tournament appearance.
