Hoops Tournament to Benefit Howard Nathan

The Howard Nathan Love Basketball Tournament will run August 4th & 5th at Peoria Manual High School.

The tournament is open to players ages 21 and over. The Entry fee is $700 per team of 10 players. The first-place prize will pay $10,000. The tournament is open to the first 32 teams.

Proceeds will benefit the Howard Nathan Foundation. The foundation was established to help cover the extensive medical bills of the paralyzed former guard from Peoria Manual, DePaul University, and Northeast Louisiana University.

Nathan was paralyzed from the waist down after an automobile accident on July 30th of last year.
