Seattle Sonics Sign Andre Brown

SEATTLE - Sonics General manager Rick Sund announced today that the team has signed forward Andre Brown to a 10-day contract. The 6-9 forward, who played his college ball at DePaul University, began the season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA D-League.

Brown has averaged 22.8 ppg (first in D-League) and 10.8 rpg (second in league) while shooting a league-high 63.4 percent from the field in 16 games for the Skyforce this season. Brown was recently named D-League Player of the Month for December after averaging 23.3 ppg and 11.2 rpg in 13 games during the month.
