Former Blue Demon Finds New Home

Posted Sep 15, 2005

Former DePaul men's Basketball player Marcus Malone has found a new home after leaving Chicago in June. Malone, who left DePaul after his freshman season, has enrolled at Lee College. Lee is a Junior College in Baytown, Texas.

Malone is a 6-5 205 lb. guard who has already chosen his home for 2006 as well. Marcus has committed to Houston coach Tom Penders to play for the Cougars beginning in his junior season. This was Malone's second commitment to Penders. He first chose Houston in the summer of 2004 and then changed his mind and enrolled at DePaul.

Malone averaged 4.3 minutes and 1.0 point per game last season for the Blue Demons.

He came to DePaul from Compton Dominguez High School in Los Angeles, California where he was on the state championship team his senior year.
