Three-star point guard P.J. Thompson is having a huge year and keeps bringing in more offers.

Tough point guards who can score and run a team are always something that college coaches look for. P.J. Thompson out of Indianapolis (Ind.) Brebuef fits that description perfectly. The 5-foot-9 floor general is having a big year, and continues to pull in offers.

Thompson has put up monster numbers all year. Recently he dropped 31 on Indianapolis (Ind.) Park Tudor, and has had those type of performances all season long. Thompson credits his huge year to confidence.

"It has been a pretty good year," said Thompson. "The team is playing well and I am playing well myself. I am playing with a lot of confidence right now and some good things are happening. I just have to keep leading our guys going into the tournament."

He continued, "I think I am getting a lot better. My shot is getting better, and I am just playing at a high level with confidence. Every game out I am thinking I am the best player on the floor and trying to be a leader."

Recruiting wise offers are coming in from mid-major schools at a high rate with high level programs continuing to sniff around.

"I have offers from Indiana State, Ball State, IUPUI, Wisconsin Green-Bay, Miami-Ohio, Toledo, and Dartmouth," said Thompson. "I then also have interest from Minnesota, DePaul, Purdue, Butler, Xavier, and a few other schools."

He continued about the recent offers, "It has been good. I know I have to keep working and I can't be satisfied. I feel like I really haven't done anything yet. I am just trying to progress going into a big AAU season as well."

Visit wise Thompson has already made one unofficial trip and is planning another before too long. However, right now the focus is still on the season for him.

"I went to Miami-Ohio and I know I will get to Toledo soon," said Thompson. "I am just trying to focus on the season now and I will take some visits before the AAU season starts and narrow it down after that."
