Sequele Talks About Decision
"DePaul has a small campus, it's easy to get across," said Greg who took his official visit to DePaul last weekend. "On my visit, I had a great time with the team and the head coach. I think I have a great relationship with him. He's a great guy. I understand him. He understands me. I know what he wants from me. The way they play really fits my style of play. I really like DePaul you know."
Sequele will give the Blue Demons an athletic big man who can play on the interior as well as outside.
"I play like Shawn Marion," said Sequele. "When I play inside I'm more like Amare Stoudamire. I play the four on my team. I'm able to go outside or inside."
Sequele appears to be a good fit for Purnell's uptempo system at DePaul.
"My biggest strengths are my quickness, my ability to jump, to run, and to play inside," said Sequele. "I'm faster than most guys who play inside."
Greg is also looking for ways to improve his game.
"I'm stilling working on my jump shot, I'm trying to get better."
Sequele was excited about taking his game to the next level in the Big East next season.
"I can't wait, it will be a great experience," said Greg. "They will help me get better and I will help them to make it to the tournament."
