Purnell Upbeat about DePaul's Progress

After winning only seven games in his first year as head coach of DePaul in the 2010-2011 season and then improving to 12 wins in his second season last year, Oliver Purnell likes the trajectory the Blue Demons are on in the beginning of his third year on the job.

Purnell's squad was predicted to come in 13th place in the Big East this year and that's fine with him, as he is more worried about the end results. "At the end of the year we want to be standing as a team that is much improved," said Purnell. "(If we do that) we'll be a team in postseason play."
