DePaul Ready to Tip-Off College Hoops Season

College Hoops season is almost here. The DePaul men's and women's basketball teams will tip-off the 2012-13 college basketball season by hosting open practices on Saturday afternoon at McGrath-Phillips Arena.

The DePaul basketball teams open the doors to McGrath-Phillips Arena on Saturday afternoon for the annual open practice. The practice gives season ticket holders, students, fans and alumni the chance to get a preview of the men's and women's basketball teams as they get ready for the upcoming season.

In addition to the chance to see each team practice, other activities include team autographs and the Blue Demon Tradition Store that features new apparel and authentic items from DePaul athletics. Men's and women's basketball season ticket holders can also pick up their tickets for the 2012-13 season.

The doors to the McGrath-Phillips Arena open at Noon on Saturday with the women's team practicing until 2 p.m. Following the women's practice, the men's team takes the floor for a one-hour practice in front of fans from 2-3 p.m. Admission is free and lunch will be provided.
